My Story

Collection: Zoe Harrison

I was born into a rugby loving family! It was always my dream to follow in the footsteps of my Dad and brothers, and I have loved every second playing the game since I first picked up the ball aged just 5! Women’s rugby is undoubtedly on the rise and I am incredibly happy to be a part of it as it grows.

Stepping into senior rugby was a massive personal challenge but one I was so excited and prepared to tackle head on. With Saracen’s in my first senior season I received the players’ player of the year award – a huge honour and motivation to work even harder! The back-to-back titles that followed were testament to an amazing squad and I’m so proud to be part of that side. I love playing for England, there’s just nothing like the pride you feel playing in that shirt. There is an unbelievable amount of talent in the team, and the aim is to continue our success after the Six Nations Grand Slam last year.

I’m still developing, improving my game and there is so much I want to achieve in rugby. My sights are set on the 2021 World Cup in New Zealand and beyond and I cannot wait for what lies ahead. I hope to inspire young women to take up the sport themselves and keep all our recent success going!
