About me

Racing is in my family! With a Dad as a trainer (Tom), a grandfather as a trainer (Paddy), and an uncle as a trailer (Willie), it is fair to say I grew up around horses. I started racing at the age of 15 and went on to become a retained jockey for my uncle Willie, whose not done badly as a trainer! I had my first Grade 1 victory when taking the Morgiana Hurdle in an amazing season which finished with a victory at the 2016 Grand National at on my first attempt, Rule The World having the day of my life! Still incredible thinking about it. I decided to retire from the saddle in January this year, but still love following the great sport that is horse racing.
